Aging Services Program of Neighborhood House

Program includes a Senior Center which provides a comprehensive program of educational, recreational, social and health imporovement activities which promote the continued growth and independence of older adults. The Center brings at-risk and active seniors together for a variety of activities, classes, excursions and the opportunity to become involved as volunteers. There's also a Care Management program providing counseling and assistance in accessing necessary services which enable older adults to remain independently in their homes.

Senior Community Service Employment Program

(SCSEP), funded under Title V of the Older Americans Act, serves persons with low incomes who are 55 years old or older and have poor employment prospects. The program has two purposes: to provide useful community services and to foster individual economic self-sufficiency through training and job placement in unsubsidized jobs.
