of Cape Meares Lighthouse & Wildlife Refuge
A
group of dedicated people who care about the natural
beauty and the historic Cape Meares Lighthouse.
Formed in 1991 in conjunction with Oregon State
Parks & Recreation Department, these members conduct
tours, greet over 50,000 visitors each year and
maintain the lighthouse for our visitors' enjoyment.
Destination:
The Pacific
Their mission is to create a national awareness
of the cultural and historical significance of
the Columbia River gateway to the Pacific Northwest
by: Honoring our cultural heritage; promoting
understanding and respect for our natural history;
and enriching our lives by linking the legacy
of the past with a vision for the future.

of Cape Blanco Lighthouse & Historic Hughes House
This group of volunteers provides educational
and interpretive visitor services for this rugged
and beautiful area. Caring about the rich heritage
of Oregon's south coast, they seek to preserve
historical reminders such as the former Hughes
ranch house and the Cape Blanco Lighthouse.

Aiding in the restoration and preservation of
Yaquina
Bay and Yaquina Head Lighthouses and surrounding
areas, and helping to interpret their natural
and cultural histories.
