Sandy Oktoberfest

Gold Beach Brew and Art Fest

Annual Bandon Cranberry Festival

Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival

Valley Art Association's Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival has been a Forest Grove signature event since 1990. The festival falls on the third Saturday of September every year rain or shine.

Independence Hop & Heritage Festival

This festival weekend is full with entertainment on 2 stages, a car show, longboard race, pie-eating contest, community barbecue, ghost walk, and much more. Streets are closed for the day and vendors participate in the Hop Farmfestival. Organizers encourage local vendors to participate - especially youth groups. The festival presents a good fund-raising opportunity for local groups. Ends at 9 pm with fireworks.

Annual Beach Cleanup
The Coast

The event takes place along the entire Oregon coast, from the Washington to the California borders. Volunteers may check in at one of 40 meeting sites, pick up a litter bag, and head down to the beach to help improve the coast for wildlife and visitors. Coordinators suggest volunteers bring gloves, wear sturdy shoes, and be safe while having a good time! To participate, click on link above for a list of registration sites.

Wordstock Book Festival

Annual Art Harvest Studio Tour of Yamhill County

Established in 1993, the Art Harvest Studio Tour of Yamhill County has become the artful way to explore Oregon's Wine Country and the creativity tucked among its hillsides. This self-guided studio tour, presented by the Arts Alliance of Yamhill County, features 40 local artists who create ceramics, paintings, jewelry, photography, fiber art, copper work, book art, paper cutting, sculpture and much more. Visitors create their own itinerary, stopping by as many studios as they can during the six-day event which takes place the first two weekends of October. Annual "Meet the Pioneers"

Special evening walking tours where visitors will be greeted by the Spirits of Jacksonville's early pioneers and settlers. Meet these early "movers and shakers" up close and personal, and hear their interesting and fascinating stories of life in and around Jacksonville during the mid to late 1800's. Dress for fall weather and be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours will depart every 15 minutes and take approximately one hour to complete.

Verboort's Annual Sausage and Sauerkraut Dinner

Every year the folks in Verboort have invited a few of their neighbors over for a sausage and sauerkraut dinner. Buy your dinner tickets when you arrive, then stroll around the grounds and beneath the Giant Sequoia Redwood trees. While all proceeds stay inside the parish, a portion of the proceeds from our dinner provide a subsidy for the Visitation Parish children who attend Visitation Catholic School. Dinners are served 11am-8pm, no advance sales.

Seaside Downtown Wine Walk

Wine Country Thanksgiving

More than 150 wineries will open their doors to kick off the winter wine tasting season. Many of these wineries are not open at any other time during the year. Festivities include tasting of new releases and older vintages, barrel tastings, specialty foods and sales of limited quantity wines. Some wineries have live music and tasting fees vary by winery. Winemakers and owners will personally greet their guests.
