Romancing the West
Summer 2013
Multi city tour

A time traveling, visual musical concert spanning over 240 years of the history of the people of the West in the musical styles of their times, with historic photos and video. The artists who bring to life music and stories include, Native American Educator of the Year Jacque Nunez, Sons of the Oregon Trail featuring “The Drifter Poet” Butch Martin and Skip Bessonette, Melanie who first appeared at Woodstock and had the #1 hit “Brand New Key”, legendary jazz pianist Patti Moran McCoy an many more.

Enchanted Forest Summer Comedy Theatre
Turner - Willamette Valley Region

The Enchanted Forest Comedy Theatre is well known for its outrageous, wild, and crazy musical comedy productions of updated fairy tales with laughs for all ages! The comedy theatre season begins weekends starting Memorial Day weekend with daily productions beginning mid-June and continuing for the rest of the season. Show lengths are about 25 minutes.

America's Global Village Festival
First Saturday in June

June 1, 2013

Ontario - Eastern Oregon

This festival celebrates the authentic cultural villages - African, Basque, German, Hawaiian, Japanese, Mexican, Native American, Pioneer and Scottish. Each village features food, arts and crafts, cultural demonstrations and free youth activities. The main stage will highlight cultural entertainment throughout the day. Upon entering the park, visitors will be given a souvenir passport. With each visit to the villages, the passport will be stamped. When children have a full passport, they will receive a free prize. Adults who turn in a complete survey will have a chance to win a prize.

Bach Festival

Jackson County Fair

Race Across Oregon

Competitors climb over 40,000 in their 535 mile campaign to the finish line in Hood River approximately 30 – 48 hours later.

Oregon Brewer's Festival

Flashback "Cruz"
August 2-4, 2013
Bend - Central Oregon

Open to all '74 and older classic cars. Event will include a Friday pre-cruz in at North Baxter Auto Parts, Saturday Show ‘n’ Shine in Drake Park (on the grass), and a designated closed “cruz” in downtown Bend. Baxter Auto Parts along with Auto Value Stores, will sponsor the Friday and Saturday night bands. This year the bands will be playing in Drake Park and Downtown Bend on Minnesota Street.

The Mount Hood Huckleberry Festival & Barlow Trail Days celebrates the rich bounty of natural resources found in the Northwest and on Mt. Hood. It is also a celebration of Native American and Oregon Trail history.

One of the highlights is the “World’s Record-Breaking Watermelon Launch” (Saturday afternoon), where catapults and other uniquely-designed contraptions launch watermelons and other produce into outer space. There are lots of delicious Huckleberry Pies and Tarts, Huckleberry jams and sauces and a selection of other Wild Berry jams, even fresh Huckleberries.
