This annual Oregon Chocolate Festival is an all-you-can-eat chocolate extravaganza presenting Oregon chocolate and specialty food vendors!

Annual Antique Spinning Wheel Showcase
March 8-9, 2014

You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to see working antique spinning wheels throughout the museum complex. This annual event is sponsored by the Aurora Colony Handspinners Guild. Live animals will be on display in the Museum’s tie shed. Coffee and cookies will be served in the 1876 Steinbach Log Cabin. Annual Whale Watching Week

10 a.m.-1 p.m. each day

Join trained volunteers at 24 watch sites to help you spot the whales. Whale watching is a year round activity on the coast of Oregon, but this is your chance to learn more about the gray whales that migrate each year. The Whale Watching Spoken Here program places volunteers at great whale watching sites during Watch Weeks so they can teach others while watching the whales too.

Annual Hood River Valley Blossom Festival

Celebrate the arrival of Spring in the Hood River Valley! Though touring the orchards is the main pastime at Blossom Festival, there are many things to do after you've admired the premier attractions.
