Completely dedicated to Oregon chocolatiers and their fantastic creations. This show will bring together Oregon chocolate companies who will present a variety of fine chocolates and chocolate-inspired products that tease taste buds of over 1500 visitors.

Annual Antique Spinning Wheel Showcase

You won't want to miss this unique opportunity to see working antique spinning wheels throughout the museum complex. This annual event is sponsored by the Aurora Colony Handspinners Guild. Live animals will be on display in the Museum's tie shed. Coffee and cookies will be served in the 1876 Steinbach Log Cabin. The Aurora Colony Handspinners' Guild will also raffle an antique spinning wheel.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

Annual Whale Watching Week
The Coast
Spring 2022 Whale Watch Week volunteer event has been canceled.

Join trained volunteers at 24 watch sites to help you spot the whales. Whale watching is a year round activity on the coast of Oregon, but this is your chance to learn more about the gray whales that migrate each year. The Whale Watching Spoken Here program places volunteers at great whale watching sites during Watch Weeks so they can teach others while watching the whales too.

Pouring at the Coast features thirty-plus craft beers to sample, compare and enjoy while meeting brewers and listening to live music. More than 30 breweries and over 70 beers will be at this year's event. Wine will also be available to accommodate non-beer drinkers.

​Every Spring, Southern Oregon is buzzing with the excitement of the AIFF. Over 7,000 film lovers gather at the Varsity, the Historic Ashland Armory, and other venues to watch over 100 documentary, feature, and short films in five days. Filmmakers from around the world engage with audiences after each screening and at festival events such as Opening Night Bash and Awards Celebration. The festival offers several general and audience awards for documentary and narrative features and shorts, plus special awards to illustrious honorees such as the Rogue and Pride Awards.

Pear Blossom Festival
April 8-9, 2022

An annual spring parade and festival with a Street Fair, Smudge Pot Stroll and much more. It is held in April to mark the time when pear trees that are a traditional part of the town's economy come into blossom. Founded in 1954, this event also includes seasonal activities such as promotion of local agriculture, a running race, cycling events along the Rogue River and a pageant.

The Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest gives seasoned and novice cider drinkers alike the chance to sample cider from Hood River County’s very own cider makers, as well as a variety of additional Northwest cideries. More than 20 cideries will be participating, with more than 30 ciders on tap.

The daylong event also features a lineup of local music, and a kids’ area, guaranteeing a great time for the whole family.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta

Portland's largest multicultural event. Featuring music, dance, art, carnival, and Latin music. The Fiesta also features "The Plaza de Artesanos" where artisans demonstrate and sell handcrafted artwork. Some crafts are exported directly from Mexico and handcrafted on sight.
