This annual Oregon Chocolate Festival is a chocolate tasting extravaganza presenting Oregon chocolate and specialty food vendors!

Completely dedicated to Oregon chocolatiers and their fantastic creations. This show will bring together Oregon chocolate companies who will present a variety of fine chocolates and chocolate-inspired products that tease taste buds of over 1500 visitors.

Annual Antique Spinning Wheel Showcase
March
Aurora - Willamette

You won't want to miss this unique opportunity to see working antique spinning wheels throughout the museum complex. This annual event is sponsored by the Aurora Colony Handspinners Guild. Live animals will be on display in the Museum's tie shed. Coffee and cookies will be served in the 1876 Steinbach Log Cabin. The Aurora Colony Handspinners' Guild will also raffle an antique spinning wheel.

Seaside Jazz and Blues
March 14-16, 2025
Seaside - Northern Coast

This festival presents some of the top performers of traditional jazz and traditional jazz inspired music. Spend the weekend, or just a day, and we are certain you will have a grand time enjoying the sounds of this "True American" art form. This is a three day festival that begins on a Friday afternoon and runs until Sunday afternoon. There is also a special "after hours" party that takes place Sunday evening after the Festival Closing Ceremonies.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival
March 21 – April 27, 2025

Annual Whale Watching Week
The Coast
March 22-30, 2025

Join trained volunteers at 24 watch sites to help you spot the whales. Whale watching is a year round activity on the coast of Oregon, but this is your chance to learn more about the gray whales that migrate each year. The Whale Watching Spoken Here program places volunteers at great whale watching sites during Watch Weeks so they can teach others while watching the whales too.

John Scharff Migratory Bird Festival

Pear Blossom Festival
April 11-12, 2025
Medford

An annual spring parade and festival with a Street Fair, Smudge Pot Stroll and much more. It is held in April to mark the time when pear trees that are a traditional part of the town's economy come into blossom. Founded in 1954, this event also includes seasonal activities such as promotion of local agriculture, a running race, cycling events along the Rogue River and a pageant.

In recent years, the Pear a Fare (local artisan food & beverage tent) and the Smudge Pot Stroll (downtown restaurant event) have been added to make “The Pear Blossom” a true “Festival”. We are very excited for 2024 to give even more of our community an opportunity to be involved in Medford’s oldest tradition!

Dundee Hills Anniversary Tour & Tasting

Celebrate 20 years of the Dundee Hills AVA with a guided tour and tasting that highlights the history and evolution of this renowned winegrowing region. This special tasting takes you on a journey through our gravity flow winery while tasting a selection of wines that showcase the unique character of Dundee Hills. Your experience concludes with a rare pour of our 2005 ¡Salud! Pinot Noir, a vintage from the very first year the Dundee Hills became an official AVA.

Events Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival!
April 25-27, 2025

You’ll enjoy a great spread of northwest cuisine, myriad arts and crafts, a selection of Oregon and Washington’s finest wineries, a fantastic beer garden and fun entertainment. The Rotary Club of Astoria will be serving its traditional crab dinner all weekend long in the exhibit hall where you can enjoy live music all weekend.

Annual Earth Day Fair

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta

Portland's largest multicultural event. Featuring music, dance, art, carnival, and Latin music. The Fiesta also features "The Plaza de Artesanos" where artisans demonstrate and sell handcrafted artwork. Some crafts are exported directly from Mexico and handcrafted on sight.

Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest

Annual Rhododendron Festival
Third Weekend in May
May 15-18, 2025
Florence - The Coast

Every year during the third weekend of May, Florence takes great pride in presenting this festival to thousands of visitors. The Davis Shows Carnival opens on Thursday in Old Town Florence and the Rhododendron Court coronation of Queen Rhododendra and The King of the Coast takes place the Saturday evening prior to the main weekend at the Florence Events Center. Saturday features the annual 5K Rhody Run and Walk, the junior parade and kids’ activities, the annual Rhody Classic Car Show ‘n’ Shine, and the Coast Radio Classic Car Cruise through Old Town. Sunday brings the grand floral parade down Highway 101 at noon. Throughout the event there will be a vendor’s fair in Old Town, a spectacular rhododendron show at the Florence Events Center, and live music, art, and other festivities and activities all over town.

Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival

Eugene Scottish Festival
